Resident breeders in Cyprus include Long-legged Buzzard, Northern Goshawk, Bonelli’s Eagle and a small, endangered population of Griffon Vulture. Residents include Calandra Lark, Crag Martin, Spanish Sparrow, Stone Curlew, Spur-winged Lapwing, Kentish Plover, Spectacled and Sardinian Warbler and Red Crossbill. Recent additions to the list of breeding birds are Ferruginous Duck and Red-crested Pochard.
